Grant Opportunities

The Georgetown Global Human Development Initiative may make funds available to support internal work within this field. These funds typically support ongoing research, new research, or pilot work in preparation for applying for a major external grant, often with an interdisciplinary approach. They are not intended to fund either conferences or faculty release from teaching. They are intended to support any other aspect of a collaborative research enterprise, however, such as travel to research sites, travel to enable working meetings with external collaborators, research assistance, and data-collection costs.

When an internal grant opportunity is available, a Call for Proposals will be posted to this site, along with any supporting application materials. Please check this site for future updates.

The Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR) works with Georgetown faculty who are planning to approach corporations and private foundations. The CFR office can research information on foundations that would be a strong fit for a faculty member's research, and provide targeted lists of potential funders. CFR also assists faculty throughout the grant proposal cycle by reviewing proposals and letters of inquiry, providing editorial assistance, and helping gather materials and formal university documents for submission.
